Testimonials
Hi, I’m Carolina
I help fellow neurodivergent professionals develop creative, personal strategies to get things done efficiently and sustainably. With over 12 years of experience in social research and the humanitarian sector, I bridge the gap between a clinical diagnosis and lived reality. I strive to find balance between self-acceptance, self-improvement, and self-compassion.

My Specialties
Mental Health Background
In my psychology studies, I specialized in trauma, grief, and multi-cultural counseling. I am able to explain symptoms, co-occurring conditions, treatments, and updates from scientific studies.
I’ve also assessed staff well-being in humanitarian organisations and advised on mental health policy.

Intersectional Lens
As a socio-anthropologist, I accompany clients from a holistic and intersectional lens. I look at each individual’s unique ADHD experience within their personal context. We explore questions of identity together and how they make meaning within their experience of culture, social norms, identity, gender, sexual orientation, medical history, and value sets.
In my spare time, I visit people in prison and train future visitors how to listen authentically and without judgment.

Lived Experience
I engage with clients from the perspective of a peer who is diagnosed with ADHD, and then some. My own continuous journey of struggles and strengths informs my understanding of ADHD and the impact it brings to daily life.

I PROMISE
I will do my best to hold space for you.
I strive to be a safe person and do my homework.
I will be open to your feedback when I invariably fail to provide true safe space for you.
I acknowledge that this is an inevitability because I have been socialized into white supremacy, patriarchy, colonialism, and other forms of oppression.
When I fail, I will hear your feedback with respect, work to make a repair if possible, and strive to avoid repeating the same harm in the future.

Inclusion in the Workplace
True inclusion is a two-way street. Each team member has a role to play.
Neurodivergence, by definition, means to think, process, learn, and communicate differently. This means that the way we get things done, cope with stress, and rest might also look different.
By approaching difference with curiosity, we strengthen our abilities to listen, problem solve, and lead.
